Runstad & Company is pleased to develop our second project for King
County using the 63-20 nonprofit/private/public partnership model.
The new 296,000 square foot Chinook Building, located on Goat
Hill, features a 13-story office building, with a day care
center and retail space on the main level with two levels of below grade
parking containing 87 stalls. A separate nine-story garage, with
the capacity to hold 823 vehicles, opened in December 2005.
Incorporated into the building design is an inviting pedestrian
concourse, which connects, as a hill climb assist, Fifth Avenue
to the new parking garage located on Sixth Avenue.
The Chinook Building is pending Gold LEED certification for Shell and Core and Platinum LEED certification for Interiors.
